Southwold Clubs & Societies
Model Yachts have been built and raced in Southwold for around 100 years. The Southwold Model Yacht Regattas, SMYR for short, is an informal organisation that arranges a series of races on the yacht pond in Southwold each Spring and Summer.
The cinema is run by the Southwold Film society – a charitable organisation celebrating the traditions of British cinema and classic films.
Weekly club play sessions throughout the year, competitive play via teams in the local leagues, internal club tournaments & social events Private or group coaching sessions available – adult or junior. Court 2 is available for booking by non members from Monday to Saturday via Southwold Angling Centre, Station Road, Southwold Courts are NOT open to the public on Sundays or when club events are using all 3 courts.
Come and enjoy a round or a day with us in the friendly relaxed atmosphere that can only be found in a traditional club steeped in history. Our clubhouse with it’s excellent bar and catering facilities are open to all visitors.

Southwold Sailing Club is situated at Southwold Harbour, approx. one mile from the mouth of the River Blyth and the objective of the club is to promote and provide facilities for coastal sailing.
